Senior Lawyer – Public Law and Community Rights

This is a full-time contract until 30 June 2027. Available for immediate start.  

The Senior Lawyer – Public Law and Community Rights is responsible for providing legal advice and casework to clients with human rights, anti-discrimination, public law and coronial matters. They will have high level knowledge in Coronial law, human rights and anti-discrimination law and administrative law.

Senior Lawyer – Family Law and Domestic and Family Violence

This is a full-time contract role until 30 July 2027 and available for immediate start. 

This role works in a multidisciplinary team of lawyers and social workers and is responsible for providing legal advice and casework across the family law and domestic & family violence programs of Caxton, inclusive of rostered duty lawyer services in Brisbane and in regional areas, and representation at Family Dispute Resolution Conferences.

Lawyer – Elder Law

This is a full-time (35 hours/week) and permanent role, commencing from 1 July 2026.

This role is part of the Seniors Legal and Support Service (SLASS)—a multidisciplinary service responding to elder abuse through a human rights framework. You will work directly with older people in the community and in hospital settings, supporting them to maintain safety, autonomy and control over their lives.
