How can the Financial Protections Service help me?
The community worker can have a chat with you about protecting your finances in later life. This service is free. You can make an appointment with the community worker to give information sessions at outreach locations and set up a ‘chat space’ afterwards. Information for individuals can also be provided over the phone. Practical assistance to connect with financial services can be provided. Free membership to the National Seniors Financial Literacy Service is available to certain individuals.
The Financial Protections Service does not offer financial advice or financial assistance (such as emergency payments). It does not make referrals to services that have business interests.
