Multidisciplinary Practice

Legal problems rarely exist on their own. They are often connected to health issues, housing instability, family violence, financial stress, disability, trauma or social disadvantage.

Our multidisciplinary practice brings our lawyers together with more than 20 social workers, community workers, First Nations workers and financial counsellors to provide coordinated, person-centred support.

By working collaboratively, we:

  • respond to urgent legal issues and reduce escalation
  • identify and manage risks to safety and stability
  • support informed decision-making and autonomy
  • navigate complex systems and institutions
  • improve outcomes and reduce repeat crisis

Multidisciplinary practice is not an add-on to our services. It is central to delivering meaningful, rights-compatible support.
