Community
Legal Education

Free legal education sessions are offered to community groups and services providers around Greater Brisbane and selected regional areas in Queensland.

Community Legal Education (CLE) is a key part our strategy to engage and inform communities about their basic legal rights, and steps to take to prevent and address legal problems.

Our legal staff and social workers deliver these free educational sessions on-site with the help of local organisations, community centres and service providers.

Professional training is also offered to health practitioners, caseworkers, JPs, police, advocates, and other service providers to increase their ability to identify legal issues, build their capability to manage related matters and make referrals for assistance.

What We Provide

Our education teams can cover all of the legal topics that are included in our services list. We have specialist knowledge in workplace law, elder law, retirement villages and parks, disaster preparedness and coronial law.
