Tasneem is a social intake worker with the Seniors Legal and Support Service team. She holds a Bachelor of Social Work and joined Caxton Legal Centre in January 2024 as a SLASS intake social worker, becoming a caseworker in January 2025.
She brings experience in community engagement, youth policy advocacy, migrant and refugee support, and alcohol and other drugs (AOD) counselling.
Her drive to make a positive difference is rooted in social justice and a human rights framework, with a practice grounded in advocacy, trauma-informed care, and rights-based practice. Beyond her professional role, she is drawn to creative pursuits; capturing moments through her camera lens, and expressing herself through spoken-word poetry.
