Ros has spent three decades working in the community legal sector. She first worked at Caxton from 1991 to 2021 delivering legal services in the field of poverty law (including, in family law), supervising law students undertaking clinical legal training, supporting volunteer lawyers advising at Caxton’s Tuesday night free advice service, delivering CLE talks on a wide variety of topics, including elder abuse and non-profit governance, and writing pertinent law reform submissions for Caxton.
She was both Community Legal Centre Queensland’s (CLCQ) PII and State representative for several years and greatly values the way CLCs work in collaboration to provide service our clients and our community.
In February 2026, she returned to Caxton in February 2026 to work as Training and Policies Officer. A registered teacher with the Queensland College of Teachers (QCT) and an experienced lecturer in arts programmes at Queensland University of Technology University of Canberra, and Australian Performing Arts Conservator. Ros is passionate about quality education – particularly in terms of preventative legal education.
