Nicky is the Managing Senior Lawyer of Caxton’s Seniors Legal and Support Service (SLASS). In this role, she has day-to-day responsibility and supervision of our Health Justice Partnerships and community-based legal and social support services, assisting older people who are at risk of or are experiencing elder abuse. She joined Caxton in 2019 working as a lawyer with our Family and Domestic Family Violence Legal Program.
As a member of the Queensland Law Society Elder Law Committee and Co-Convener of the National Older Persons Legal Service Network, she regularly contributes to and assists with submissions to law reform and policies for issues concerning older people.
She has worked in Community Legal Centres in Queensland since her admission in 2015.
