Kelly is a Senior Lawyer in the Financial Rights and Housing Security team.
Her practice specializes in delivering legal advice, education, and empowerment to vulnerable clients in relation to consumer credit and debt disputes, as well as a cross-section of other general civil legal matters. Kelly provides discrete advice, ongoing support assistance, and legal representation to clients, in addition to supervising Caxton’s Consumer Credit and Debt clinic on Wednesdays.
She was admitted to practice in 2016 after graduating with a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) and completing her practical legal training through the College of Law. Prior to working at Caxton in 2023, she worked as a personal injury lawyer in private practice.
Throughout her career, Kelly has focused on advocating for vulnerable cohorts, including clients with disabilities and impairments, clients who speak English as a second language, and clients with limited financial means. She feels strongly that access to legal services and justice should be available to everyone and finds reward in facilitating this through Caxton’s free legal services.
