Celeste is the Communications and Community Engagement Lead who oversees Caxton’s design and production of communications products and various content; community events; and engagement with stakeholders, media, and Caxton’s online community.
She is an experienced journalist and an accredited workplace trainer and assessor. Since 2017, she has been a Queensland correspondent for Special Broadcasting Service (SBS) radio and digital producing news and special reports including coverage of local politics and national issues like the housing crisis, immigration, disability, and climate change. She has also worked as a journalist at the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) Brisbane newsroom and as a presenter for ABC Classic.
In 2023, she was the content specialist of Brisbane-based, humanitarian organisation Multicultural Australia where she wrote about the journey of former refugees and those seeking asylum who now call Queensland home.
