Alex Ladd

Lawyer

Alex (he/him) is a lawyer and human rights advocate working within the Seniors Legal and Support Service (SLASS). He supports older clients in community and hospital settings and has a passion for systems advocacy.

He is on the Management Committee of Queensland Advocacy for Inclusion and is also a member of the Queensland Law Society’s Human Rights and Public Law Committee. He has experience working in community legal centres supporting people with disability, the LGBTQI+ community and older persons.

In 2023, Alex was part of Australia’s Civil Society delegation to the Conference of States Parties to the Convention on the Rights of People with Disability, held at United Nations Headquarters in New York City.
