Elder Abuse Action Australia (EAAA) is a new peak body tasked with supporting national coordination and advocacy on issues related to the prevention of elder abuse. Caxton Legal Centre played a key role in establishing EAAA throughout 2017 and 18.
A survey is currently open seeking the views of those working in the elder abuse field about what features would be of most use in a ‘Knowledge Hub’.
The main purpose of the survey is:
- to understand the feasibility of a Knowledge Hub on elder abuse
- understand how EAAA can support and work with stakeholders to create a greater impact on preventing elder abuse
- prioritise the function and features of the Knowledge Hub.
The survey is available here. Responses are due by 23 November.
