Chris is a bi-racial man, of Dauer Meriam and Anglo-Celtic ancestry, and is one of the Bail Service Social Workers for the Coronial and Custodial Justice Practice. Chris graduated from a Bachelor of Social Work from Queensland University of Technology in 2017.

He has nearly five-years’ professional experience within non-government organisations in Aboriginal Community-Controlled Health Services, and mainstream disability support services. He is a critical social worker, applying a strengths-based, intersectionality-informed approach to empowering vulnerable and disadvantaged populations, especially criminalised people.

Chris is experienced in service integration and stakeholder partnership and collaboration to ensure the best possible outcomes for community members, and is committed to empowering individuals own self-determination and autonomy.
