Klaire Coles and Cybele Koning will commence as Acting Directors of Caxton Legal Centre from Tuesday, 2nd October, 2018 as the organisation begins its search for a new Chief Executive Officer.
“Caxton Legal Centre has been standing up for the rights of people who suffer as a result of the way the legal system is structured for the past 40 years. We are excited about the prospect of engaging someone new who will take on the leadership of Caxton with fresh passion and energy,” said Mark Thomas, Caxton Legal Centre President.
“2019 will provide many opportunities to continue to be a voice on issues directly impacting people’s wellbeing including in key program areas elder abuse and human rights,” he said.
Outgoing Director Scott McDougall has left the organisation to take on the role of Anti-Discrimination Commissioner with the Anti-Discrimination Commission Queensland.
Applications for the role of Chief Executive Officer are now open.
